stayed at Stoneys have stayed there before and the same time as D'oh!mer last trip and Its a sound hotel, very clean, the staff are excellent, nice little bar for Happy hour, decent enough food, guest friendly, friendly regulars and reasonable rates. Massage next door, 7-11 across street and Laundry straight across Soi. Booked up for New Year and Songkran. Basically everything you want although it is a 10-15minute walk from Bangla but this also has the advantage of being quiet enough to relax and its no problem to get a TUK TUK. No pool but beach is only a 5minute walk.
Like D'oh!mer says also a nice little bar on the corner of the Soi if you cant be bothered going to Bangla.
All in all i would say a good choice!
