I don't include David Niven who played the original role as it's not an "official" film produced by EON.

Wasn't there another actor who played Bond?
He was in the original american TV Movie version of CAsino Royale! Thats why it took so long for the Broccoli's to get the movie rights to the book as Fleming had sold them earlier! (Thus the Spoof version with Niven was made.)
My vote goes for Brosnan. Think that he was very good, and had it all, apart from the scripts. Though I do think that Goldeneye was a very good BOnd film, but that could be more to do with the N64 game I was addicted too.
I think Sean Bean was unfortunate never to get bond. I think he would of made a very good one. But of course he would have to lose the regional accent and maybe to closly associated with Sharpe to get the full role! Our kid did good in t'film Goldeneye though! Aye!
