Looking at SNN to LHR and on to BKK with BA. Air Asia look's good to Phuket and onward's to Kuala Lumpur.

I flew Dub -> LHR -> KL -> BKK with Malaysian airlines from London. It was €780 return, valid for a month. I used
Cheap Flights, Package Sun Holidays, Late Breaks, Discount Deals @ Clubtravel.ie who were the cheapest at the time. It would probably be a wee bit cheaper to fly from London and make your own way there but I don't think there was a big difference in price at the time. My bags went straight through to BKK too.
The Dynasty Inn Grande in Bangkok is a good hotel... I stayed there for about a week... Very hard to find fault with it. See:
