Maybe its just me being intolerant.. Maybe its the high season.. But its things like this that make Thais think farangs are asses..

Sat in a fast food joint at about 1 or 2 last night (I am not proud of it.. I was hungry..) As it was bars closed there were quite a few FL's hanging around and a couple of tables over from me 2 old, badly dressed, guys have 2 girls sat across from them.. Conversation was really strained with lots of silence (I was eating not earwigging) and everyone seemed uncomfortable without 'buy me dlink' jenga and connect 4 tools of the trade..

Fair play the girls are gamely trying to make some rapport going, and said (could she spell it out) me no hab boyfliend, you hab ?? etc.. After making the obvious confused joke of "no I dont have boyfriend" (which went straight over her head) he decided to announce that yes he had "many many many girlfriend".. For the record this was from grey combover, beer gut, socks and sandals, bit of a personality deficiency..

Felt like piping up 'sure you do buddy.. sure you do' but what the hell.. Thier business and not mine and who am I to judge.. Not really about being polite just about how some people seem to lack the social skills.
