I also like the seafood joints in the alley between Tiger and Ratuthit. I usually run the gamut to go to the one nearest to Ratuthit, next to the pharmacy.it think it is called # 1. I've been there many times and they always remember me, and treat me well. the food is good, too, esp. the seafood.

Another place I like is the one which is on Ratuthit, not far from there, at a hotel. They have lots of tables outside, the food is pretty good, and you can watch the parade of BGs going by on their way to the bars or w/ their dates. I think it is called Phuket Villa. It is on the east side of Ratuthit, a little way north of Soi Sunset. Not cheap, but very reasonable.

Of course, if you are talking about getting the best food, the place Urtheman worked at outside of town(Surin Beach?) was awesome, altho a little pricey, and, Savoey, the big one on the east side of Beach Road, between Bangla and Sawatdirak is very good, too(also pricey).
