I have never discusses money and have had zero problems. I think its for 2 reasons
1) i go with girls that show an interest in me 1st, feel you have a better time and get a more responsive girl
2) i spend money like a drunken sailor so i usually have shown the girl a good time well before going to the room
related story:
i just asked my GF recently why she didnt ask how much i give her the 1st night i went with her.
she said that i had bought her the most lady drinks ever(16) that she made 800 baht and figured id be generous with her
