My story goes that before all the terrorism in the air if you were born in Britain or Ireland you could travel between the 2 countries with only photo id..
My grandmother died in England so i booked flight with Ryanair Dub-manchester..I had national Garda(police) proof of age card which thier website said was ok..
So i travel to Dublin and get to the checkin desk and they say they have changed the policy in the past few weeks and now only a passport will do which i did'nt have..
There was no way they would budge even though thier website said it was ok..
I ended up paying again to aer lingus and got on no problem...
