MrDK, regarding the health care I received all I can say is it was 101% fantastic, the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, the hospital was the cleanest I have ever seen and as much as I hate to say it, makes those I have been in within the UK look disgusting and shameful. I was lucky with my travel insurance as it is obtained through my employment at a discounted rate which is enabled through a group scheme (Not Group Sex Unfortunately) so I can't really say if it is comparable with other schemes or not, however I paid for my treatment via credit card and received a cheque yesterday for the full amount claimed including the interest caused by the payment method so I have no complaints with them. I will be putting some of this money aside for next months 2nd attempt at the holiday of a lifetime.
I wonder what my Gallbladder fetched on eBay for the Surgeon. Perhaps I can lose a kidney next time, in fact that might be the way to beat any Visa issues, eventually my whole body will remain in Bumrungrad and I wont have to go back to the UK, brilliant !!
