I don't think it would be a major problem as you do get married couples going there & sometimes families but i think it's fair to say there are more of the single male travellers ( + groups of men) there than anything else.
The beach there ain't as good as Phuket , Samui , Phi.Phi etc...
Pattaya is a sin city on steroids by the sea , more sex than you can shake a stick at so personally speaking i would not take women or members of my family there as they would probably get bored seeing so much mongering going on.
But up 2 u at the end of the day.
