If you want to meet "real" Thai you have to leave the bargirls and tourist areas behind!
You have to travel around the country to see and meet the "real" Thailand!
In places like Patong you will only be regarded as a walking ATM or a *****monger!
I've been travelling to Thailand for 20 years now, the first 10 years I only stopped by a few days in the tourist areas rest of the time I spent out in the provinces.
I could hardly walk or travel anywhere without thaigirls hungrily approaching me and speaking to me, all willing to get to know me, giving out their adresses,telephone numbers, photos and e-mails!
I have loads of presents given and sent to me, clothes and especially knitted kneck scarfs, have a whole drawer full of them!Lol
I have a whole box with literally 100's of loveletters from girls I met while travelling around Thailand all claiming how much they loved me and want to marry with me!Lol!
Some girls would even come to surprise me at my hotel at night!Lol
Never any talk about giving them money, they did it because they genuinely liked me wouldn't even accept me paying for restaurants or movies had girls pay me to go with them on expensive dinnercruises along the Chao Phraya River!
They were like hungry mosquitoes, I almost had to beat them off with a stick! Lol
Friendlier and more approachable girls than Thaigirls are difficult to find!
And I am not talking about bargirls, I'm talking about students and schoolgirls, officegirls and shopowners, hotelreceptionists to farming-girls, poor or rich from any walks of life!
You just have to lift your ass off that barstool and wander away from the tourist areas to find pure and genuinely friendly Thaigirls my friend!
Just treat them with respect and they will treat you the same!
