"Closing times are once again a major issue in Patong. Government notices were recently sent to all bars to close at 2:am sharp. It is being enforced on bar beers as well as discos - even restaurants. Time for another round of protests over this short-sighted move by the local morons. It's now confirmed that 3 venues have been closed for 15 days for violating the law - Tai Pan, Baya Beach and Superstar - JUST IN TIME FOR OUR OPENING PARTY!! What a coincidence!!"
