If you current system is correctly configured with PC2100 you can replace with PC2700 - No problem!
Most sellers of memory modules will have a configurator on their web site which will confirm this. One would be Memory upgrades, graphics cards, flash media, and usb storage at Crucial.com (crucial.com)
