Just got back from another 10 days in LOS and thought i would check out secrets again with a few pals who were on their 1st trip.certainly was much quieter than my oct/nov trip and the staff hussle heavy for drinks,one girl i noticed my pal buy a shot for @100 baht and it didnt look like alcohol so i lent over and took a smell to discover it was only some form of lolly water and not the real thing.one pal liked a girl and asked to barfine her but wow 1200 baht is just plain robbery.
some fat guy introduced himself as the manager who was different from the last manager that was there.i aksed about the price of the barfine and was just shrugged off so i mentioned the shot was only lolly water and the madman got aggresive so i had a heated argument with the madman manager and paid our bin never to return.i dont take too kindly to threats(grrr) but i am smart enough to know if i flawed the prick then the Thais would jump me, so i have put it in the back of my mind for a later date.
found out later after i visited freelancer bar that secrets management are not welcome in too many bars around town after they attempted to discredit other bars around town like flb,cherry bar soi 8,mistys and living dolls 1.
anybody know who is the lad about 55 that was a regular at the flb years ago with his blonde UK girl.he walks around the bar like he owns pattaya but something happend and he hid in the kitchen when some guy walked into the bar so must be a bad egg i think.
