As we have a "sticky" for various airlines flying into Thailand, thought it might be helpful for newbies especially to have a list of booking agencies (websites) where its possible to get a reduced price ticket for your next trip.
If anyone has additional info about UK sites please post here, and I will c+p it into this one post.
It is quite often a good move to "join" some of these websites as the latest offers will be emailed direct to you. Check your spam folder
I would also advise using these websites to get a fixed price, then approaching your local travel agent to see if he can beat your price. Sometimes they can.
Finally, when you have a price, use that airlines website and see if you can get the fare cheaper, sometimes it is better to go direct through the airline website. For airline websites
