If you are going to use a metaphor, use on that makes sense. Fire is often fought with fire.

The terrorists that were responsible for 9/11, US Embassy bombings, USS Cole, 1993 WTC bombings, commuter trains in Spain, subways in London, etc., etc, weren't the results of US bombs.
That's how i see it.
