I normally go to Bangkok (because of business) and have only been to Phuket once 2 years ago so certainly not qualified to comment..
Nor have i been to Pattaya but on another forum the numbers of crimes reported in Pattaya is enormous...Muggings, murders and so called suicides seem commom place with farangs....
