It was the point you made about an average wage of 200B a day and there not being a poor Thai here! Just didn't add up as I can walk 200 meters from where I am now and shake thier hands!

If people are on holiday, can't they tip what they want to tip? If they have received good service and feel they want to give a 'thank you' for that it is up to them what they give.........or, is it you think they are under-mining the local tourism industry and economy and because you live here you feel that holiday makers should just leave 10B or nothing at all?

If I am too drunk to know what is going on around me and I get billed for one or two drinks more than I should (Not unique to Thailand) then is that my fault or thiers? It has happened before and will probably happen again.
