I helped a Canadian guy and his TGF with certified translations for their visa application, I dont know if it was fiance or tourist visa but she got it. I met them when they come back to Thailand for holiday. So I guess Canada is more easy.
USA is not impossible just a lot more work and you need how to act against immigration/embassy officials, know what they want to hear and not hear to be granted a visa. So I guess it is best to take professional help from experts. For European Union it is pretty easy, UK the only exception.
