CAT ADSL - Get it if you can
I've been running CAT ADSL (on a CAT phone line) for about 6 weeks now. It is excellent and by far the best available in Phuket.
Download speed ranges from 900kbps - 1800kbps. Generally staying over a megabit. Up speed is 800kbps. It is 10am right now and I am still pulling down 1.6 megabits. This is real downloading and not speedtests.
Websites load very fast. There seems to be less latency when forming a connection. VOIP is good.
The line is stable. Signal drops for a few minutes every couple of days. No major outages. Even during the Taiwan earthquake service was still very decent.
Well worth the 2,500 baht. I recommend that you get it if you can.
