To a lesser degree, I can say the same thing. My ex and I get along a lot better now than before we divorced. However, she would never have been interested in going to LOS. My idea of fun is flirting, great sex, good food, beaches, bars, bargirls, massages, and having a laugh with good-natured people who really know how to enjoy themselves. That describes the scene in LOS.
The ex's idea of fun is having a luncheon date with one of her very boring friend, talking about absolutely nothing of interest to me. And for a really big day out, they go to a track meet!! Wow! I don't think I could bear the excitement.
So now i take vacations in LOS. She goes to Italy or on bus tours of museums, historical sights, usually ending up in Italy, and stuffs herself with all the fancy Italian and French food! NOt my cup of tea. Not one bit!
