There's a lot of "freedoms" we'd like to have but unfortunately there are also rules and regulations which are in place and "at times" are enforced.

Whether we prefer afternoons/evenings/nights....or early mornings , someone is always going to be upset. I don't feel that closing everything down at the same time is boring , but I do feel it is stupid.Turning everyone out on to the street at the same time is just asking for trouble , as normally people just "filter" out when they have had enough.

I know previously a lot of late opening was ignored but when it becomes "in your face" (due to more places/later times) then I think it attracts too much attention , and results in "clamp downs".
