… But seriously --- as has been said before --- if the MiB enforced the law to the letter, all “entertainment venues” would have to close at
1 AM inside the “zones” and midnight for the ones outside. That’s the law.
Of course, if this law HAD been enforced, the majority of the bars would’ve folded. Guess my point is that IMO the latest crackdown is nothing more than a “show of force” (from Bangkok?). Fact is that if most bars had to close at midnight, the nightlife in Phuket would die. Simple as that.
Gee, even my dad would be pissed (erm... not pissed) if he was forced to stop drinking at midnight...
