samui defo has a much younger crowd but, the night life areas are very small I.E. soi green mango in chaweng beach, so maybe there are just as many young people in phuket but not as noticed because it's large size of the island. the nightlife in phuket is better for the bar scene and so many girls to choose from. i like both to be honest, but i would say that the BG's can be more picky in samui due to the fact that there isn't as many, but as we all know "money number one" so your always end up with a date. can get free-bees to in samui if you play your cards right on the beach during the day cus there is lots of groups of girls that go there.
