Easy to become superstitious

Looking through empty buildings with lots of sand in them. Then people I cant see shouting to me in Thai. There is more I remember, but I wont go in to it.
So maybe these superstitions affect everyone, but us scientific Westeners just dont interpret them for what they are.......... or maybe it was me just drinking too much!

Hmmmm..... The same year I arrived in Patong the 19th of december and went to the beach every day by 9:00 am for breakfast, get a tan and get rit of my hangover. The first and only exception........ the morning of 26th of december. That morning I woke up by a loud screaming and banging on the door of my room. It was about 10:10 am. I tend to believe I was just lucky, but I am not 100% sure if it was just luck. Maybe more than the usual amount of black death's and fisherman's friend the night before 5555555555.
Cheers,
