This has always been a repressive government and will continue to be so while the western governments like America, and Ausralia etc. panda to their needs via supply of materials for money. A few years ago we condemned them for human atrocities and now we supply raw materials to the extent that it costs people in our own country money. Supply of steel, oil, etc is costing every country in the world when we want to buy it in our own country it costs twice as much due to their uptake. American world economy I don't think so myself as it just cost everyone more and more. As for the Chinese Tiananman Square was a disgrace and so is the way they won't accept Tibet as their own country in their own right. I have a very good friend (Tibetan) in Australia who would not spit on the chinese Government because of what they have done to Tibet. Its about time Bush, Howard, and the Cinese government shut up about how the rest of the world live and worry about how the people in their own back yard are living and stop trying to worry about influencing the rest rest of the world with their political views. I am by the way a traditional Liberal voter. Have been since Hawke was in power in Australia as Labour spend far too much on bullshite but under Howard they are going nowhere. Time for a change and Costello is not the answer. ( more of the same ) Time for real change in the countries that influence this world and to give the people a real chance of giving life a go before its too late for our children.
