Thumbs up

Ao Nang was very quiet when we were there (June). More restaurants than bars. We stayed at Ao Nang Princeville Resort, across the road from the beach. Highly recommend the place for class, but staff were very standoffish. Didn't get to Railay (Sp), but will do that next time. Apparently its a short boat ride (10 Mins) to there. Krabi we visited in daytime, and apart from orangatang statues holding the traffic light casings, didn't seem too different to central phuket town. One thing I recommend, is climb the 1200 steps to part of Tiger Temple complex, about 6kms out of town, on way to airport (I think). Great veiws over Krabi and the bay. Take lots of water, and wear comfortable shoes if you do it. Your heart will probably work harder than it ever has before (well mine did anyway)
