I totally understand where your coming from Diz...
I am not doubting how good the hotel is, I have never heard anyone complain about there stay at KN, And I am sure the staff are lovely people and can totally understand why if it was you who was in that position and decided to book another hotel, That you would send another email or ring them because of the fact that you have already established a good relationship with the hotel staff...
But for the numerous other people who have had this same problem with emails, Then I can see why they would not bother to reply as they would probably think "Well if the hotel has not got the decency to reply then why should I"... And I can understand that aswell which is a shame for the hotel because it is losing an awful lot of custom which a hotel in that area needs to survive....
