I think it was cool that OZlover did a quick guide to Phi Phi - I think that was the point of his post.

Anyway, I have also spent a lot of time on koh phi phi, though all but 2 nights were before the Tsunami. I have been there with my TGF and it is true that you get a lot of disapproving looks from the righteous crowd. Nothing wrong with pointing it out. His advice to avoid it was to not bring you TG, well, it isn't my advice but if some dudes are uncomfortable in that situation at least he mentionned it for them to make their own decision. No reason to jump on the guy for expressing his opinion.

Anyway, I used to love koh phi phi when they had a little bar named Karma bar. It was right next to Hippie bar and it is remodeled as a new bar now with 2 levels. But, back in the day, when that end of phi phi wasn't so busy, I could hang out there all night chatting with the bartenders or some of the local farangs and listening to great music. Anyway, Hippies bar owned the land, made Karma bar sell out or abandon, and then, 1 month later came the tsunami. So I guess the Karma owners had good Karma to get out when they did!!
