we were there last week to be honest went from the new airport to Don muang with a driver from the airport and it cost us 1000bht going the other way we went by taxi meter and on the meter ,Bangkok being being Bangkokit was a tad busier but still cost us 1000bht.
the is a free shuttle service but from what i have been told it is not free for nothing and you need a bit of time on your hands.
