get a taxi to Pattaya (approx 2 hours away), about 1000 to 1500baht, plenty of hotels to chose from - head over to Soi 7 & 8 as there are about 6 hotels round there - Sunshine, Flipper etc, most around 1200baht a night and only a 20baht taxi (baht taxi) ride from Walking Street, but plenty of bars, Agogo's and restaurants in the area - however as you're going with the wife these will only be for reference etc (unless she's into 3-somes)......5555555555
