I didn't ask what they were looking for, but it sure seemed like a drugs search. He checked in all the little pockets in my wallet etc.
I thought we were obliged to carry passports at all times (foreigners)? I used to carry a photocopy but have not bothered for the last few trips. It was a pretty solid reminder that I'm not at home I guess.
