I have a 2 night stopover in KL on the way home and have been told that the prices for real tag watches are much cheaper than in Australia . I also want a couple of copies for presents. Would it be better to wait till I get to KL before I buy any watches?????

Well worth it because there is no tax on watches in Malaysia. Everywhere will tell you 20% off the list price and then you can usually get another 5-10% off depending on your haggling skills etc. If you go to the KLCC shopping centre under the twin towers there are a plethora of watch dealers there and also a TAG Heuer dealer/repair centre.

I bought a the basic Formula 1 there for £250 which was retailing in the UK for £450 and also the Breitling superocean chronometre for £800 when it was £1200rrp in the UK. The only thing is I'm shit scared of damaging it so I hardly ever wear it!
