Just got back from Thailand & i have to say the most fun i had was in Phuket, to have all the beer bars & Go Go's in one street is great, nothing like Bangkok or even Pattaya, seemed to be a lot of gay go go's in Pattaya what with that & the beach was crap.
I ended up at Soi Gonzo ( that new soi that opened while i was there, bar fines were 200bt LT 1000bt) so i didn't get the chance to visit Mai Thai Bar but i will be back in May for 2 week in Phuket & i will pop in.
