I think your in a difficult situation , but i think you have to note a few things when in a realationship with the type of thai girl your involved with.
If she is from Issan she is likely to be fairly poor , thus is your relationship is to progress (IF) you would always be seen as the rich westerner even if your not ,,, you are by there standards . If you married not that you would , you would probaly always have to send money back home its just the way it is . The children in thai culture always look after the parents , so once involved u will have to bide by that too.
