I was going to recommend Ratchadapisek area too, however, I have very little experience. There are many Soapies there in walking distance. Based on a 3-year old experience I would stay away from Caesars (but could have changed). You can tale MTR from Asok/Sukhumvit (Soi Cowboy) to Ratchadapisek

Same-same Utopia. Unlike other places take the taxi to the door. A few time when I have done that the taxi driver has recommended better places, like Emanuele or Mona Lisa. These places obviously pay taxi commission.
