gosh, this makes me miss my Indonesian cellular network for providing 'delivery status' message for every sms sent!
So, you'll know if the destinated phone number was switched off/has got no signals for some periods(you'll get 'delivered' message hours/days later), or the number is no longer active ('failed' message sent to your inbox).
Dunno if your mobile phone carrier has this service for its customers (Australian ones don't.. What a bummer
)
Still..... send her sms(plural) at different times, and see if one has her replying! Plus, send her an email.
Don't think too much of the reason behind it. It'll just cause you nauseous feelings in the end
