I'm making the assumption that you do not mean 42k for all tickets, otherwise that won't get beat IMO...
I have seen a site quoting (here in Singers -
Chan Brothers Travel Pte Ltd) the following based on Departing Singapore 9th June and returning 28th July with (THB equiv in brackets calculated at 22.35)...
Economy
SGD930 (THB20,785 plus tax) with KLM - Class V (assume via Amsterdam)
SGD1,048 (THB23,422 plus tax) with British Airways - Class S (assume direct)
SGD1,200 (THB26,820 plus tax) with Thai Airways - Class V (assume via Bangkok)
However, it's a site that doesn't allow booking online and may be one of those that changes the price once they've got you on the phone
I've not used them so cannot comment on whether this is true or not. As for taxes, you should have a reasonable idea of what the extra will be and then just add it on to the above prices, plus you need to add on the cost of getting to singers - was SGD170 for me recently which is THB3,800 roughly.
Having flown with Singapore Airline several times, I would recommend going with them even if it works out 3-4k more expensive.
