Just a couple of points.. Isnt it that the amount of Thai staff only applies to the extension for visa based on the WP.. and the WP can be attained without that many staff.. Thats what sunbelt says on TV.. Can even have no staff in BKK and one only in Chiang Mai..
Also as it will be a new company, he wont get a WP extension no matter homw many staff until he has a tax record so the whole issue of extending the WP incountry is moot until spring 2008 and next years tax history is available.
It is now much harder for new companies as you cant get the multi B without the tax history in local SEA consuls and you cant get the tax history without the company and working.. Catch 22 !!
