I do not know which way would be cheaper but if you are only calling back a couple of times ... then many internet shops also offer pretty cheap rates to call overseas from their shop phone.
Also just a pint to keep in mind. If you bring a card over or buy one watch using it from Hotel Room Phones as sometimes the hotel does not get the discount and will still want payment for the call.
