Nanny
One thing to consider:
I have a Filipina femme of interest in Phuket. A schoolteacher (degreed) but the frustrations have gotten to her. I suggested that she explore working as a nanny in the US. She is now connected with a service in Chaing Mai that is processing her.
Persuant thereunto she is taking driving lessons since a valid drivers license is required. If your ladyfriend is of, er, good moral character, speaks English, and has a stable work history she should have no problem. Once she is in the US legally you can work out the logistics of continuing your correspondence.
