I don't really have any practical suggestions for you and I understand you are worried especially if it's a family thing, but the ideas you have already put forward sound reasonable to me. I am sure other BM's will have some creative suggestions. Personally I don't give a f^ck what people think, Its my life and I will live it the way I want to.
