At least part of the time they are flying just south of Chalong circle, basically paralle with the Chalong Kata road in line with Phi Phi. The view of Phang Nga wouldn't compare with flying up the left coast like when you are coming in from Singapore (only during monsoon season I think). Still there would be lots of nice little islands to look plus phuket from the air would be cool.
