I'm not a big fan of zoo's but teelak is and likes pandas and since I'm up here working I stole away today to see them.

I couldn't believe how close you can get to them and how tame they seem.
I've only seen them on TV so even though I'm kind of jaded I thought they were pretty cool. They were also smaller than I thought they would be. There is a small open area between them and the crowd but they seem to like the attention and they walk along the wall about 5 feet away from you and there is no plexiglass or anything between you and them.
The female Lin Hui seems much more interested in Chuang Chuang (gay?) and looks at him through the fence (they are separated)

We also saw giraffes, Brian the koala and a donkey hung like a pornstar.
