Okay not personally purchased land in Issan but of course like any country regions dictate differing prices. Per rai in a small village maybe as low as 40,000baht, getting into to say, Ubon town you could find the value of land goes up to as high as 400,000baht per rai. So no guidence method, ask around first then get a feel for prices. Maybe get your girlfriend or her father to enquire and try to negotiate for you, but be careful (no aspertion on their character but just said from experience).

I have done a little research just because land, houses etc interests me but only land I've bought is in Phuket. Learn about the different land titles, (my spelling) Chanote, Nor Sor Sam, Tor Bor Ha, written in order of best and the only land titles you can build on (although Tor Bor Ha should perhaps be less considered).
