I have booked a hotel with them for later on this month. They email back and forth and seem ok. If you change your mind tho they screw you on Cancellation fees!!!!
Thailand Hotels is a better company IMHO. Tim who works there is very helpful and they have a great deal with Baipho Hotel and some others.
I wish now I used thaihoteldiscounts than hello-phuket-hotels.com. But to answer your question. I have used them, all paid up for my trip in 3 weeks.
The reason I used hello-phuket-hotels was they had a good deal on Poppa Palace. book 5 nights and pay for 4.
