Hi Dodg - we usually stay at either Jomtien or Patts cos, strangely enough, she actually enjoys it and its only a 2 hour run from BKK where she lives.
I have asked her about other places but apart from Chaing Mai, where she'd love to go, but 1 week is not enough time - (we will be going next year when I have more time) she's not that bothered about any others........but I will ask her again this time and see what she says.
She doesn't mind the bars and gogos and to be honest we dont really frequent them much anyway but spend most days on the beach and evenings at a nice eatery, maybe a beer or two and then back to the 'loom'.
no offence taken but it seems to work for us as she is never worried about me sneaking off.....55555555
