I would like to thank everyone who responded to my newbie posts!
We stayed at the Front Village in Karon. Great rooms but the food SUCKED.
I would like to especially thank Bernie from Bernie's Bistro in Karon right across from Karon Park!
Bernie gave me geat advice about the "hows and whys" of Phuket and saved me a lot of cash and trouble!
His lovely wife Ann (how many expats have fat ugly wives...NONE!!!...LOL) prepared a dinner for eleven of us and it was a superb combination of Thai and Chinese cuisine (my wife and her family are from Hong Kong).
All in all, the weather was great, the seas were calm, the snrokeling was FANTASTIC! My nine year old daughter had never snorkeled before and she was AMAZED!!!
I had a great time, thanks to you all and to Bernie!
