The hotel that I stayed at in Siem Reap was the Golden Orange Hotel located about a block back from the river. It’s a real nice 4 story hotel owned by an American married to a Khmer. It’s similar to Flamingo’s (in Phenom Penh) with a full restaurant and outdoor bar with pool table (no swimming pool though)
is guest friendly and has hi-speed internet. For you non-smokers they even have a non smoking floor. I had a double room for $20 per night.
