Personally I have only ever known 1 woman in Phuket that worked in a bar and could not drink alcohol (only OJ and Tomato Juice)
Bottom Line...It is their job to get you to drink as much as you can (if this means getting pissed with you) then that is the core objective.
Couple of general info notes:
The girls get paid a commission (~30% I think?) for every Lady Drink you buy them.
You may notice the Cashier giving the girls a little paper slip when she pays for the LD. These are cashed in and that is their commission (which is usually exclusive of their salary).
Remember one thing...these girls are small/petite and they cannot drink large volumes of drink (most of them prefer shots). Any yes…they get pissed very quickly (in comparison to many western women you may know).
If you are not careful you can get them to pass right through the “socially excited stage” to “vomit monster” (I have the hotel laundry bills to prove this…fcuking Black Sambuca)
Most of the girls I know tend to like the spirit shots or a mixer (Whiskey/Soda). My favorite girls like to pace themselves on a Baileys and Ice…tastes nice and 50% of the alcohol of normal spirits.
I personally let them drink what they like, if that is a non/low alcohol night one time then so be it…This is always a win-win for me.
You can imagine what hard-core drinking night after night does to these girls bodies, so yes sometimes they must cringe when you come again the next night and order a round of shots…This is something you will have to experience and judge for yourself as you go along.
