Doctor's note Soi Paradise B200- no exam, tetanus shot up north in Gov't clinic B50. Gov't hospitals (I've experienced) seem to have a set rate falang or thai- the international hospitals are just money spinners. Having seen the conditions and treatment standards in the gov't hospitals up north, given the choice between them and the NHS I know where I'd rather be. We put one falang kid through a private hosp in Chiang Rai- Xray and removal of stitches B600 including doctor's exam. A private room with hot and cold running nurses in Chom Tong hospital at B700 per night- Bring it on!!!
